What it is: A total of 10, 2 person teams will participate in each division. Every ladder will be held for a total of 1 week. Each team will participate in a total of 2 series everyday throughout the duration of the week. After each series, the teams will earn points for their appropriate placement for each individual match (points for each placement are listed below). After every day the points that teams have earned will be added to each teams “total points” for the ladder. After the week has finished the teams with the highest points will partake in the prize pool.

These Official Rules apply to all Teams, Team Owners, Team Managers, Team Staff, and Players (“Participants”) who are actively participating in any event related to Kaotik Precision Gaming, or plan to participate in any current or future event related to Kaotik Precision Gaming. These Official Rules have been designed to ensure the integrity of all competitions, to protect the image and reputation of Kaotik Precision Gaming and the Franchise, and to create a consistent and high-quality experience for members of the public that view Kaotik Precision Gaming events. These Official Rules form a contract between Participants  and Kaotik Precision Gaming and its affiliates who are engaged in Kaotik Precision Gaming events. These Official Rules establish the general rules of online ladder and tournament play and offline tournament activities, including rules governing player eligibility, tournament structure, points structure, prize awards, and player conduct. These Official Rules also contain limitations of liability, license grants, and other legally binding contractual terms. By entering and participating in Kaotik Precision Gaming Events, Participants agree to share contact information and game data with Kaotik Precision Gaming, its affiliates, and its member Teams, in accordance with applicable entities’ Privacy Policy in effect from time to time. Each Participant is required to read, understand, and agree to these Official Rules prior to, and as a condition to, participating in Kaotik Precision Gaming Events. THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND ALL DISPUTES RELATED TO OR ARISING OUT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION  ARE GOVERNED BY A BINDING ARBITRATION CLAUSE AND A WAIVER OF CLASS ACTION RIGHTS IN SECTION 14 AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE PROVISIONS IN SECTION 12. THESE CLAUSES AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND REMEDIES, AND YOU SHOULD REVIEW THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCEPTING THESE OFFICIAL RULES. If a provision of these Official Rules is or becomes illegal, invalid, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect the validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of these Official Rules or the validity or enforceability in other jurisdictions of any other provision of these Official Rules. Violation of these Official Rules may subject a Participant to discipline, including, but not limited to game/match forfeitures, prize forfeitures, fines, at the Administration’s sole discretion, as further described herein.


 

Tournament Information

  1. Regions Allowed:

    • North America

  2. Control Schemes Allowed:

    • Controller Only.

  3. Activision ID:

    • Players should provide their exact Activision ID. (Example Activision ID: Example#1234567)

  4. Hosting:

    • Private/Custom lobbies will be used to host the match.

    • The Host of the Tournament will Host Lobbies.

    • If the Tournament Host is not Available the Player with the Best Internet will Host

    • Any Player can request a Host Change, this doesn't mean it will be Granted.

  5. Proof:

    • Games Will Be Recorded & Streamed If the Tournament Host is Not Codcasting

 

Hacking/Streaming

  • You MUST ensure "Save past broadcasts" is enabled while streaming your tournament matches. VODs MUST be active for at least 24 hours after the match has concluded. Should a VOD be removed, the team in question may be subject to forfeiture of the match.

  • Proof Required: The accusing team is ultimately responsible for providing any proof concerning their hacking claim. Please be ready to provide ample evidence that shows your opponent may potentially be hacking. If this proof is not provided, we still keep track of accusations, and the player accused of hacking will be watched by the Tournament Host.

 

  • Zero Tolerance: Any user found to be hacking will be permanently removed from the Tournament and will be suspended from future tournaments until determined by the Tournament Host. Players found to be playing with a hacker will also be subject to possible suspension.

 

  • Voice: All users must include communication audio in their live streams. Failure to have any communication audio between yourself and teammates may result in a forfeit of the match and/or any rounds played we deem necessary.

 

Match Rules

  1. Warm-Up & Practice Games:

    • No warm-up or practice games are permitted once the match’s first game has begun. If a match is played before the scheduled time, it will be considered a warm-up and will not count as the official results.

  2. Delays:

    • Teams may not delay the match for more than 10 Minutes between each Game.

    • Teams must contact Tournament Host to report a delay of game.

    • Failure to begin the game when requested by a Tournament Official may result in a forfeit of the match.

  3. Connection Issues & Lag:

    • In the event that lag occurs, the game should be completed.

    • The player experiencing connection issues should capture video proof before contacting Tournament Host after the game has concluded.

    • It is required that multiple players capture proof of the connection issues.

    • Leaving the game prematurely may result in a forfeit of the round or game.

  4. Disconnections:

    • If a player disconnects within the first thirty (30) seconds and/or before the first kill, the game should be ended.

    • If a player disconnects after the first thirty seconds (30) and/or the first kill, the map must be continued and the missing player can return to the lobby.

      • Leaving the lobby may result in a forfeit of the round or game.

  5. Eligible Players:

    • If an ineligible player joins a game, the game must be ended and Picked up with the Same Score Board of Corrupted game.

    • If a Player is found to have invited an ineligible player to a game, they may forfeit the game.

  6. No Show Procedure:

    • Teams have 15 minutes from the scheduled match start time to join the match lobby. Failure to do so, will result in a game forfeit.

      • The team then has 10 minutes to get a 4th player to continue the match.

    • Teams must contact Tournament Host to report a no show in progress.

      • A Tournament Official will attempt to make contact with the team through Discord.

Cheating

  1. Cheating, glitching, abusing in-game mechanics, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in a forfeit of a game, match, or ban from Future Tournaments.

    • Accusations must be verified by a Tournament Official.

      • If a Tournament Official is not available contact the Tournament Host Immediately. 

      • Punishable unsportsmanlike behavior includes, but is not limited to, excessive use of foul or degrading language, Shooting Bodies, T-Bagging, Shooting Weapons at the end of matches, or any other form of Toxic Behavior

    • For all cheating claims, the burden of proof is on the accuser.

  2. Equipment:

    • No Keyboard & Mouse (Controller Only)

    • Players may not use a Turbo controller or a Button Macro controller.

      • Turbo controllers allow Players to press a button that results in their Character performing a set of actions that would normally require the Player to press the same button multiple times.

      • Button Macro controllers allow Players to press a button that results in their Character performing a set of actions that would normally require the Player to press multiple buttons.

    • At administrations discretion the game is subject to being replayed with the suspected player being required to record their activity.

  3. Lack of Cooperation:

    • Failing to comply with Tournament Official directions or requests may result in the Game or Match forfeits.

  4. Warnings:

    • Tournament Officials may issue Warnings. Depending on the severity of the action or conduct by a player, multiple warnings may be applied.

 

Match Reporting

  1. Time Limit:

    • Both teams must report the match results within 15 minutes of its completion. Failure to report the match results on time or respond to any messages that you receive from a tournament official may result in your team receiving the loss.

  2. Proof:

    • At least one member of each team should take a video or screenshot(s) of each game’s results. All proof should be clearly visible and contain player names, and match results.

  3. Disputes:

    • In order to dispute game results, players/teams must notify a Tournament Official

 

Tournament Support

  1. Abuse:

    • Abuse of a tournament official will not be tolerated through any medium. Violators of this rule may be subject to bans or suspensions from future tournaments.

  2. Decisions Are Final:

    • Tournament staff have the final decision in all matters related to this competition. If a player feels the decision is unjust and/or goes against the rules listed the player can ask for an appeal on the ruling. An appeal can only be done once per decision, the highest tournament official available to make a final ruling.

Points:

Points: After each series, teams will earn points for their respective placement in each given series. The points are as followed:

  • 2 point for every series win

  • 1 point for every series played

  • 0 points for every series loss

End of Ladder Results:

In the case of a tie between two or more teams, the team with the higher win/loss record against the opposing team who they are tied with will take the higher spot. In the case that the two teams have an equal 1-1 series ratio against each other, the team with the better ratio of maps won/maps played throughout the series the teams played will take the higher spot. In the case that both teams have equal maps won/maps played against the opposing team, the team with the overall best maps won/maps played throughout the given ladder will take the higher spot.
